BEFORE YOUR LASER TREATMENTS

Patch Test and Skin Analysis

You will need to book this for all treatment areas prior to any course of laser sessions with us. This is legally required by our insurance. This is a chance for us to assess the treatment area, ensuring it is suitable for laser treatments, find the maximum settings for you and ensure there are no adverse reactions. You MUST send us a photo of the treatment area 24hrs following your patch test to ensure there are no adverse reactions.

Relax

Come to your treatment calm, cool and relaxed. Your body needs to be cool prior to being exposed to the heat from the laser treatments.

DURING YOUR LASER TREATMENT

Relax

Please come to your treatments calm, cool and relaxed. Your skin needs to be cool to avoid risk of burns.

Clothing

Please come to your treatments wearing loose fitting clothes that allow your skin to breathe easily after treatment. Avoid wearing jewellery, watches and anything metal such as belt buckles may have to be covered over.

Sensations

Laser treatments are unfortunately not completely pain-free! Tattoo removals are often described as an elastic band pinging against the skin with some heat. We will cool the area down before and after with different cooling methods.

Frosting

White circles called frosting is often something you see in social media during the laser treatment. Please note this is not the tattoo instantly fading and only lasts a minute! This reaction is a positive response, a temporary release of plasma and gas. It shows your body is instantly getting to work to heal and remove the ink.

Photos

Photos will be taken prior and post treatment and only shared with you. This is to track your progress and legally cover us for insurance purposes. We will not post them on social media without your permission.
